    Why is Microsoft removing these features?


    Okay, so I am absolutely livid with Microsoft for several reasons. The first is the withdrawal of Windows 7 support, but that isn't relevant to this post. The others are the removal of Cortana and File Explorer from the Xbox One, as I use them both extensively.
    I also was looking forward to getting a Kinect, as it seemed like a really cool thing... and that's when I noticed that Microsoft is discontinuing that as well. Given that all of this has happened quite recently, and that Microsoft removed quite a few features
    when the One launched (notably the ability to use an offline account), I expect that next to go will be Edge, which I spend a large chunk of my day using.

    Why are these features being removed, and is there any way to get them back? (No purchases, my account is broke.) (If there is a way to bring back those features [minus Kinect, of course], try to make sure I can do them if I only have the console [normal
    Xbox One S]. Please and thank you.)

    Xbox is going to be a different machine in a few years: microsoft has understood thst these features have to be added or deleted in a long time.

    Kinect has been completely abbandoned and the dashboard is going to be always more similar to the future series x

    You can use alexa devices with Xbox one now that support for Cortana has been discontinued
