Why is Microsoft destroying the gaming industry?

I have spent over 400$ in the past year or so on controllers that keep breaking, like clockwork, at about 3-4 months old; they break in the same way every time; up on the left stick becomes a deadzone. I have never
had that happen to any controllers, ever; in over 35 years, mind you. Insane.

Sure I can get a replacement but I don't want another lemon to replace the 3-4 lemons I already wasted time and money on. Time for a recall and a full refund but of course the hardware super says, "here's the number to
legal". Eyes roll.

Way to go go Microsoft; destroy the gaming industry by consuming all of my budget for PURCHASING more games or the ONE X with your "amazing" planned obsolescence "skills". Again, eyes roll.

The annoying misc issues &/or outright unacceptable standards that Microsoft has adopted or become is encouraging me to avoid them like a plague. I hate to be that way. I want to love but Microsoft keeps teaching me that my love for them is misplaced. I feel
like a neglected lover or child; not a respected customer/collaborator. How long to accept being ripped off, usurped into QA/UI testing feedback slavery & continue to deal with innumerable other annoying redundant wastes of existence from this corporation
before I find another dealer or unify other like minds in order to make the alternative business modeling of which gives everyone an out from the ongoing abuse?

Also, everyone has different experiences. I have 3 controllers, and they all work fine for me. One of them came with the system when I bought it in November 2013. I had issues with the left bumper on the one controller after I dropped it, but I was
able to pop it back into place.

I've only bought one extra controller. I stil have the original one that came with my xbox one. Some people have problems with controllers and have to buy multiples. I guess its on how much usage they receive. I still have my original controllers for
my ps2, gamecube, snes, genesis, dreamcast, xbox and xbox 360. But when I bought my playstation 1 I went through four controllers. One had its d pad pop off after a week.

Nope. Respectfully, you are wrong but good try. The older controllers don't have this problem. in 35 years I have never had a controller break in this way and now I've had four or five of them in the past year, all of them elite controllers, even the tier
2. it's not how much you play them or what type of game you're playing either. I've always played like it's my job and I have never had a controller analog stick fail in this way, ever.

Why gamers destroying the Industry? Think about that, without US, the gamers there would be no Industry!
