Why is l4d2 not available to buy

Hello William, if you are looking for a game and it is not available in the store for purchase it is because it was removed from the store, in the case of Left 4 Dead 2 it was removed by Valve.

I have the same problem. I tried to buy the game digitally but all i get at the L4D2 store page is "Currently Unavailable." Anyone know why?

I did infact buy it online (digitally.)

I checked that link and signed in with this account, it is asking me to purchase it again... which is odd since I can still play the game.

And this is the only account I have :/

Sorry for the issue you're running into. Did you by chance purchase the game digitally or are you using a disc? If you can check and verify that it's showing you purchased the game here online:

marketplace.xbox.com/.../66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-d802454108d4 (Please make sure you login with the same Microsoft Account you used to originally get the game).

Also, is the account you're trying to play it on the account that purchased the game or do you have the console set as the home console for a separate account from the main account you use?

Good thing I'm not a fan of L4D2 or I'd buy a copy asap.

The game is really only for to play with someone else, playing solo is pretty damn sucky.
