Why is it that the Skate 3 community is not able to get simple answers from EA/Microsoft?

The Skate 3 community not only wants Skate 4, but wants Skate 3 on Xbox one badly. There have been some guesses as to why it is taking so long but these have not been proved right or wrong. Many people do not have Xbox 360's (such as myself) and want to
be able to play (or at least try) Skate 3 on Xbox One. EA/Microsoft (Mainly EA) Have not been able to give out a simple response to a simple question such as, "Why is it taking so long" or "When is the release date". We keep getting the same response basically
saying, "We appreciate your question but we will not be giving you an answer". People have been waiting five months for a response! We want skate 3 on Xbox one.

Skate 3 was Removed From Backwards compatibility!!!! and microsoft does not want us to know!

Everyone is quick to jump and defend a company that is doing not too much for the community other than lie to us.... The EA manager said himself they have no intent to make skate 3 backwards compatible. Why is it still advertised as coming soon? Why are
threads about the topic locked instantly?

EA_Nils is a general EA Community Manager, not a CM for SKATE which is why they don't know any information about it.

In fact, EA Black Box the developer of the game doesn't exist anymore. So the work to make it backwards compatible is probably being handled by Microsoft and they are working on bigger more popular games as well like Red Dead Redemption.

I'm sorry for your frustrations however there is no timeline as to when Skate 3 will be released for backwards compatibility on Xbox One. There was never actually a release date for it when they announced it was coming soon. Hopefully we will see it soon.

bowski477 is providing you with that answer because that is the answer available. When backwards compatibility was announced, Skate 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops and others were announced as "Coming Soon". There was never any time frame as to when the community
could expect those titles to be released to the BC Program. Now, the phrase "Coming Soon" is up to the individual on how they wish to interpret that. It could mean weeks, and it could mean months. Right now, the Xbox Team is optimizing the best experience
possible for their gamers. This is unfortunately what happens: Gamers want a game to be released and when it is rushed, they complain about quality and glitches, etc. When time is taken preparing the titles for release, gamers then feel like Xbox isn't working
fast enough. It is a lose-lose. Backwards compatibility is still fresh. 5 months to be exact. So it will take time to work on some of these larger AAA titles. Patience is a virtue my fellow gamers. It will come in due time.

If you can't give customers a timeline then you shouldn't announce anything. That's true in ANY business. And wasting time/resources on making XBLA games and obscure titles no one voted for backwards compatible instead of working on the games players actually
want definitely doesn't seem like "optimizing the best experience possible for their gamers." I swear you mods are utterly useless, all you do is regurgitate what MS tells you to.

 

I would like to remind you that I'm not a mod, nor do I have any contact with anyone in MS aside from gamers. I post in threads because I, like you, enjoy information. But when it isn't the information that I'm looking to hear, I understand that and wait
patiently for when things fall into place. Complications arise always. We as consumers have to be aware of that
