    Why is it that I started an 8 GB update for CoD MW2 and when I came back to it a few hours...


    Why is it that I started an 8 GB update for CoD MW2 and when I came back to it a few hours later it shows it's now a 125GB update? It seems to be reinstalling almost the entire game at this point and I honestly don't have the time or the Internet to one wait for it or two be able to actually use my Internet with any kind of speed while it's downloading because of how many devices have to use it and what I'm forced to be able to have where I live. I guess just why would it go from updating, to reinstalling if I haven't uninstalled it and gone to reinstall? I just don't enjoy missing out on almost three days of playing because of my Xbox's exploration of autonomy.

    This is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard of...microsoft/call of Duty...get your **** together and make this not happen to people who play your games. After all, without us... you wouldn't be ****
    They dont work for Microsoft. Almost no one who responds in these forums work for Microsoft. Its mostly fellow gamers here answering questions.

    Did you decide to play the game after a long time?

    Sometimes when minor updates are not completed and you let time go by, other major updates will stack up resulting on a huge update like the one your downloading now

    if the update encounters an error or is cancelled or some other issue it cannot re verify the files and will download the entire game again.

    I personally play everyday. Yet everytime there's a new update my console will be stuck saying updating with no progress on cod. After a very long time it will show such a big update that it's like I'm reinstalling the entire game. Every single new update this happens.
