Why is it that i cannot play downloaded games from Xbox gamepass while using my laptop?

As per the above reply, you won't be able play high end games like Gears 5 or Halo infinite on that machine

It's a budget model designed to browse the Web, watch video streams and light to moderate productivity. It won't play high end games natively.

Your laptop is for basic computing tasks, it doesn’t have the hardware to support anything beyond basic gaming. It’s meant for efficiency not speed in a nutshell

I have the same issue using an Xbox controller on my laptop to play gamepass I had to delete bf4 everytime I ran keyboard comes up and I’ve found it does it on the left stock when you run on any game very frustrating why is there no fix from ms?

on the windows laptop, sign out of the xbox app, sign in with the ultimate sub account, download whatever games they was from gamepass, sign out of the xbox app and back in with their account and they can then play those games.

You can't merge accounts ever on any server it is a security risk

You can download other games from your store profile but you cannot use your gamrsaves from the other profile

I think you are mistaking the proccess

One you only need to be signed into the gamepass account in the XBOX App to download the games from gamepass

You only need to sign in on the store profile with your gamrsaves if you need to download from that store profiles games and to play those games saves

You aren't downloading any new profiles you are only accessing to profiles from within the xbox app

Whenever you choose to use the gamepass profile for saves well you just made it harder

So as long as you don't use gamrsaves or certain features like gamepass ultimate cloud play you will be fine with only the original account

Cloud requires the account with the subscription
