    Why Is GTA 5 online not working


    whenever i go online from the story mode in GTA 5 (Xbox 360) it always comes up with a message that says "One or more downloadable content packs are missing that are required for compatibility GTA Online". It also asks 'Proceed to the Xbox Games Store to
    download?' I press yes and it takes me to a screen that has updated and modes that I can downloaded or purchase. Most of them are free so I purchase it. It then downloads, and then there are two options, Play Now or Continue. Sometimes the Play Now option
    is shaded grey and I can't press it, when it is not it takes me to a message that just tells me you have to go to the real game to play or something like that. The continue button takes me back to where I was before, where there are different things you can
    download or purchase. I've been trying all day, searching things up, but found nothing to help. Help me!

    Hi!

    I'm having the exact same issue as you with GTA Online. I tried deleting my profile from the console, and I have xbox live gold. A fix for this would be nice please.

    Hi!

    Try to check if the Gold subscription is active on your console (in the "Subscriptions" section). If everything is working, try deleting your profile from the console and re-download it again.

    why doesnt my gta 5 online work?

    You need Gold to play online. If you played it online years ago, then you had Gold somehow, either on your account or someone else had your console set as their Home and they had Gold.

    GTA 5 Story Mode not opening

    Story Mode is an add-on to GTA 5 Online. You won't be able to play it unless you own GTA 5 Online.
