    Why is Gears of War Ultimate Edition not fully downloading?


    Hi there, I just not purchased Gears of War Ultimate Edition from the Windows Store.

    It shows that it needs to download 52.76 GB of files total, but when it nearly approaches the end, my PC randomly force restarts.

    When I open the windows store again, it shows that required file space is now doubled to 98 GB.

    I thought it was normal however it happened again, but now the required files jumped again up to 140 gb, as if it was trying to redownload a second or third time.

    Can anyone please let me know what the solution to this problem is, if any? I would like to get this installed and playable as soon as I can.

    I have Windows 10 Version 21H1, Build 19043.1202

    Ok so never mind, it seems to have been fixed and fully installed now.

    I restarted the windows store by pressing the windows + R buttons, and typing wsreset.exe and luckily it fixed the problem.

    Hope this helps for anyone else that has the same problem.

    As a quick little bump, did you check Gears of War: Ultimate Edition's 'Ready to install' list for any pending DLC that needs to be installed? To find this, highlight the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition tile, press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller
    and select 'Manage game'.

    Additionally, are you able to search for the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Character Pack on the Xbox Store to download?
