Reinstalling the game did nothing to fix the problem, and I had been using wired ethernet in all instances both resent and past. The issue still stands after reinstalling twice more and it is a digital use from game pass so no physical media is involved either. Internet connectivity on other games and apps works without issue on the wired connection but still resides in Gears 5.

I know that Series S can't use the XIX enhancements. I'm asking if the Series X

Yes, why wouldn't it be? Faster processor, graphics and more RAM (16 GB). I did already state in my previous reply that Series X will play X1X enhanced titles.

Not only was Series X running the X1X Gears game, the developer has enhanced it again for Series X.
