Why is everyone blaming Xbox?

Both MS and Sony knew from as early as December that Lizard Squad threatened they would take down both networks. Lizard Squad did prove a point, that both networks should have better protection on them for the future. I got a feeling it happen again though,
so hopefully both Sony and MS have learnt from the process.

It could of been a lot worst though no one had money taken over the Holliday's.

 

It was down for about 2 or 3 hours xmas night here in the U.K.

Think owen made a good point,people think that by coming on to the forums & screaming at Microsoft that will get a free game or something as compensation.

 

Thing people need to remember is Microsoft had xbox live up and running within a few hours while Sony is still having problems with their network. So I personally am happy with the fast response from Microsoft

 

They're blaming Microsoft for not being able to stop it. I don't know how powerful DDos attacks are, but I wonder if there's a way for a company to combat that sort of thing from ever happening again. I don't blame Microsoft. Every time XBL went out, I got
mad at the people who were causing the interruption, but I do hope MS does something about stopping future occurrences, cause it's very annoying.

 

Temporary thread-jack, but has anyone else had issues staying in part chats, or constantly getting disconnected from live? Are these side-effects of what happened with live, or another matter altogether?

 

Can anyone tell me that how to register a xbox 360 wired controller and where to find it's serial number

 

Because no matter what the issue is right now Microsoft is still responsible for Xbox. It is their job to keep the service you paid for up and running.
