    Why is downgrading the minecraft bedrock version is not an option on the minecraft launcher


    On the minecraft launcher downloaded from microsoft store, there is an option to downgrade java edition but not for bedrock, why is that so? And if lets say the minecraft bedrock version can be downgraded on the launcher, what risks or bad things will happen? Like other than the fact that the minecraft servers cannot be joined since they require the latest version of minecraft bedrock, what other risks will happen if minecraft bedrock can be downgraded in the minecraft launcher?

    Cubecraft (the current best bedrock server)

    Uses a plugin called ViaVersion, it allows players from all version to connect to the server, plus we want to downgrade our versions to play with addons and old features, we always loved the OG Minecraft , im not saying that the current one isn’t good, it’s amazing, but I still wanna re-live the old times I had playing this game.

    I really recommend you enable players to downgrade, BUT at one condition: when you downgrade you won’t be able to join higher version worlds are realms, if your worried about worlds and stuff breaking, I really wish you take my request seriously.

    Because that is the current version. All games are required to be updated to access online features.

    I also also have the same problem, but I'm not sure if I have the right PC bedrock version because I'm not sure if the minecraft bedrock from the microsoft store is different from the minecraft bedrock that I have on the minecraft launcher
