why i'm changing to pc, why and how to change to

(scroll to bottom for advice on building gaming PC with more processing power and better graphics than an xbox one as well as the benefit of saving money on paying to play online)

after being a member of xbox live for about 10 years now. going through three xbox360´s before getting the first one which didn't red ring of death'd soon after my warranty ran out. i now have an xboxone.

somebody in my own tribe on ark walked into my house while i was crafting and tranquilized me from behind, then kept me tranquilized for nearly an hour while i was assuming he'd get bored and leave me alone. he then took my stuff and put me in a cage with
stone walls around so i couldn't get out without help.

i messaged him and said will you F*** off, P****s like you are ruining gaming. (not racist or homophobic or sexist nor did it hurt or offend him) to which he responded "screenshoted XD" and had me banned from communications. (i'm not aware of a way to screenshot
messages but i haven't looked into it.)

i've never had a problem with another gamer. the only other infraction on my account was from a friend proving he doesn't need proof to have me banned from communications (which i didn't believe because i thought that would be stupid of the microsoft)

apparently the use of skype, the kinect, messaging, and voice chat are "privileges" and not services i've simply paid for (y´know, like on pc)

why on earth would xbox make this so easy for trolls like him? this isn't taking care of your customers. this is allowing others to abuse people. there's a block feature. if i were the sensitive little snow flake xbox assumes we are i would have reported
hundreds of people for things they've said about myself and my family. i don't, i just block them and move on with my life. i'm never buying another console especially one from microsoft unless these issues change and i know most of the gamers on xbox live
feel the same way

i'm done putting up with this from Xbox live. with their self destructing merchandise, completely unhelpful support staff, unless you're having trouble making payments, and having to pay to play online.

So, I've considered whether it is financially viable or not to build a gaming pc and worked out the difference, here's what i've come up with. it's more expensive at first but does work out better in the long run for two reasons.

1.) no paying to play online, meaning this works out equal in 3 years.

2.) you don't have to pay hundreds for a next gen console when they come out. you can simply upgrade the necessary part

not really a financial reason but also you can't be completely blocked from talking to your friends. now my friends think i'm ignoring them because for the first time in years i'm not responding..... so here's my plan if things stay
this way, i hope the gaming comunity will follow suit until these problems are fixed and we don't have to worry about trolls essentially ruining online play for us for X amount of time after already abusing us. i know most gamers will agree that blocking a
player so they can't join your game or message you would be sufficient, communications bans are easily exploitable overkill

this isn't me spitting my dummy out and having a hissy fit or naively attempting to ruin microsoft because i was banned. this is me trying to get across the point that microsoft are alienating the better part of their own gaming community with policies like
this and the fact that the current price to play online is over the top, meaning we're much better off playing on PC. i hope the staff at microsoft deal with these issues before the next gen.

i also hope for the support of the gamers on xbox live in pushing these issues forward. i know i'm not the only one that has had these problems
