Why i think PS4 is better

The common argument between playstation and xbox is simple, which is better? Well for many people, playstation is there “headquarters”, and visa versa with xbox. It may be born out of competitive nature, or perhaps just a simple bias from exposure.

I know there has been a long and winded struggle between why people believe Xbox to be superior in every way to Ps4. I am here to debate the simple fact that Ps4 is better in every way, let me tell you why:

- A more dedicated server management system (Better security protection, data encryption )

- Better, more exclusive content and low low prices ( UNCHARTED 4, The Last Guardian, God of War, Killzone, Horizon Zero Dawn )

- Virtually Cheaper

- Better Dedicated Server Management

- Happier Players

- Better Control Mapping / Handeling

- Less Legal Restrictions

- Compatibility, Portability, and console longevity

These are quintessential to a proper gaming environment, and in my opinion reign superior.

I am very much looking for a solid debate, please drop your 2cents and let me know how you all feel.

- A more dedicated server management system (Better security protection, data encryption ) Wrong. Just ask yourself how many times has the PlayStation Network been hacked and taken down?

- Better, more exclusive content and low low prices ( UNCHARTED 4, The Last Guardian, God of War, Killzone, Horizon Zero Dawn )- Games are games. This only applies if the games you want to play are on PS. I can play Xbox Anywhere games on my Xbox
or my PC. PS games can't do that. Prices are similar. Topic is subjective since no data is provided to support the assertion of Better and low, low prices.

- Virtually Cheaper - repeated topic.

- Better Dedicated Server Management - see above about the repeated topic.

- Happier Players - completely subjective. How is this being measured?

- Better Control Mapping / Handeling - Offset sticks are the way to go as the symmetry of the PS controller drives me nuts. Xbox Accessories App handles remapping just fine.

- Less Legal Restrictions- Untrue. In the USA the Terms of Use for Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network are virtually identical. In fact the Xbox Live system is more flexible with regard to naming as a ban for a name on PS Network is permanent.
On Xbox the name is force changed but you don't lose your account...well you can by acting stupid repeatedly.

- Compatibility, Portability, and console longevity - Unsupported assertion. I still have my Day One Xbox One from 2013 running continuously and accepting Insider Updates. I don't understand the other two terms in regard to the Xbox. Every Xbox
One game runs on any Xbox One. More Backward Compatible games from the 360 are released regularly and run well. No console is truly portable except the Switch.

 

I absolutely agree with this response. Just to add to the "Less Legal Restrictions" response, I'd just like to say this:

Take a stroll through Bethesda's forums/ mods section. Specifically the ones dedicated to Fallout 4 and Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Special Edition mods. The mods section, just for Skyrim SE, contains (last I looked) somewhere around 4k mods for Xbox One. Many
mod authors have just turned off the comments section under their mod descriptors. However, before that started happening, the vast majority of mods' comment sections were absolutely laden with PS[3 or 4 can't recall which] owners begging to have that particular
mod ported to PS. Which was and still is impossible, quite simply because Sony wouldn't allow any mods that contained external assets. If it doesn't already exist within the game, Sony doesn't permit it. Many mod authors got so sick of having to repeat something
similar to 'This mod uses external assets, it can not be ported to PS' that they started posting this in their mod descriptors.

Therefor, if it's true that the ToU policies are virtually identical and the flexibility for naming is more forgiving on XBL... it appears to me that there's more legal restrictions from Sony.

 

I don't care about ps4. They're a bunch of degenerates who have been mocking xbox more than they've been gaming. I don't care about exclusives I don't buy stuff for exclusives I buy stuff for features and xbl gold is cheaper than ps+. Xbox 360 is the only
7th gen console that has party chat and voice and picture messaging. If we want to talk numbers more people play PC than ps4 PC has more sales than ps4 xnox one x has better specs than ps4 pro. One of my best friends who is a girl her mum has banned her from
ps4 cause the guys there are soooooo toxic. Being competitive and placing unnecessary emphasis on which platform is better rather than letting people be happy with what they want.
