Why I Think PS3 Is Still Far More Superior Watching Movies Than XBOX ONE

I wanted to buy the XBOX One for the sole purpose of watching MKV movie files. I watched a few movies already & did show signs of intermittent lag, something I can put up with, but what really cheeses me off is the unintuitive crap design of the controller
when fast forwarding or rewinding the movie. I wish the layout could b as superior as the PlayStation 3. The best feature of the PS3 is that u can fast forward the movie at x1.5 & have it slightly speed up the movie while still being able to watch & enjoy
it. I believe this to b an extremely important feature to have so that u can not only speed up all the boring parts in a movie, but also saving u time so u can hurry up & watch the next film. Because this feature is not included with the XBOX, I'm seriously
going to dread being forced to watch all the slow paced boring ground & pound when watching MKV Bellator or UFC events. The XBOX fast forward is so utterly dreadful in fact, from 2x to 128x the screen is frozen in place not knowing how far forwards or backwards
u actually need to b. R they ever going to fix this? Pffth, I highly doubt it when no company likes to imitate there rival but ever striving for uniqueness even if its a crap design it must stay they say.

So for the time being it looks like I will forever be using my PS3 for watching AVI & MP4 movies & will only ever use the XBOX ONE for watching MKV if I don't have the option of sticking a USB drive into the back of the TV & firing up the MKV movie that
way first & foremost because at least the TV remote is still far more superior than this crap XBOX controller.

Terrible pick of poison, the PS4 is far more superior than the Xbox One.. The PC is better than both.. and by PC I mean a $350 build lol

 

What made y'all pre-order the Day One?

The main reason I am getting the one is because Xbox live is the bench mark off online console gaming and the service they provide is always going to be far superior than psn. Having had both consoles the xbox since 2006 and the ps3 since 2010 I have played
my xbox a lot more the only time I really play the ps3 is for exclusives and when I complete them I usually trade them in and jump back on the xbox.

 

I totally agree with you there, its pretty crap. I watch alot of foxtel on xbox and that is frustrating to navigate too.

That's an interesting point you make about MKV Movie files, but I reckon instead of watching UFC you should join PUB ANZAC on Battle ages, we need active players.
