Why I need a game pass while I purchased the disk already?

Crash Team is online only so it would require Game Pass to play.

Can you clarify exactly what Forza is asking for? You shouldn't need a specific edition. The only things the other editions do is give add-ons.

You're not bursting my balloon. I personally not bothered by it. Was just passing along what I recently read. And you only need the disk in the tray for disk based games. Don't imagine there is a disk for games bought from the arcade. And as it says,
"content they purchased digitally"-don't imagine those would have a disk.

Unfortunately downloading the game using a disk does not mean you can play without the disk. Installing the game only let's the game run faster since the xbox does not have to read the entire disk. You will still need the disk to play or purchase the digital
copy. I hope this helps you understand why you need the disk.

Did you pick this game up with gamepass when it was on there? It left game pass a little while back and so if you did play it via that way and not purchase it, you would need to buy the game to get access now (either a physical disk or digital download)
