Why I can't send messages or join party ?!

A silver membership can actually send/receive messages. They just can't play on Xbox Live or join a party.

As for why you can't send messages, I came up with the following reasons why:

- Your/Their account is banned

- Your/Their Inbox is full

- Etc.

.

What I recommend you to do is to contact Customer Support and have them look into your account as to why you are not able to send messages. This is usually not an error and a legitimate reason to why someone wouldn't be able to send messages.

I can join partys an games but cant send messages or inv 2 parties it happens every day why does it

same problem I'm having . I can join and create parties . I can also receive messages . But I can't send any messages at all.

I don't think that Phone users are allowed to make/join parties that why Microsoft implemented party chat where iPhone user can send they friend a party chat so that their friend can join through the message. to be able to use party chat you need to have
a chat group with all your friends in it and send a party chat.

Where you able to send messages and join parties before?

First, let's try a simple fix, please, power cycle the console to clear its cache data and try again.

To do it, follow these steps:

Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 60 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait at least 60 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

Plug the console power cable back in.

Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.
