Why I can't play the games that I downloaded from XboX Live?

Hi!

I have a strange issue with my games that I bought on XboX Live... last night, i was playing offline with a game that I bought on Xbox Live, suddenly the connection with XboX Live shut down (but this isn't the problem... I read about this issue between the
advisements of technical support), my account remained logged in into my system but every single game that I downloaded (and bought) from XboX Live (or the games that I have the disc but also I have DLC downloaded from XboX Live) don't start anymore (even,
the games of XboX Arcade are signed like "Demos" and not like "Full Game")... why?!? It's normal???

I payed for them, why I can play with them if I'm not connected to XboX Live even if they are associated to my XboX account and regularly downloaded into my hard drive?

Usually that's a licensing issue. Have you ever switched consoles or had your console repaired since you download the content?

I changed my old XboX 360 (the first version) with a new one (the latest) last month but, except for the saves, I didn't transferred or copied the datas. I activated the new console log in with my account and, after, I downloaded again all the games and
the DLCs that I bought into the new one. Only at the end, I transferred my saves from a USB Pen to the the hard drive. Do you think is this the problem? How can I fix it?!?

I understand that, sometimes, the XboX Live service can be down but almost all my games are bought on the online store in download format and if it's impossibile to play with them when the service is down I find the thing a little bit "annoying"...

Even though you've re-downloaded everything, the licenses are still associated with your old console. Take a look at this

license transferring process . Once you perform this you will need to re-download everything again so it updates the local licenses. Afterward you should be able to play everything offline. Let us know how it goes.

I never seen that voice into the preferences of the console. Now I transferred the licenses to my new console and re-downloaded some games and, seems, now works everything right! My only regret it's didn't know this procedure before to re-dowloaded all the
games and DLCs... next time I will read better the license!

One last question: for Xmas, I think will buy the new XboX One (or when it becomes available backward compatibility with games of 360) but i don't understand if the transfer of licenses are possible before 4 months from the last time i did?!?

You won't have to transfer licenses to the Xbox One. The games will be on your Ready to Install list (if digital) or can be installed from the disc (disy still required to play). Hope this helps!
