Microsoft considers under the age of 18 as a child account. Then, it's depends on if they are over the age of 13 or a member of a Microsoft family account.

If you're on a child account, changing your birthday won't make any difference as Microsoft only recognises the initial date you used to set up the account.

Microsoft considers all accounts below 21 years as child accounts and the privacy settings page in inaccessible for them by default.

To change your privacy settings you'll need a parent/adult account. They'll need to add you to their family group as "Member", then go into that page and enable those settings for you.

i would but 19 is for my birthdate, hence i had it would rather not change it, again cant justify it just to get my capital letter

Just know that while you can change the birthdate in the Microsoft profile, you cannot change the date of an Xbox profile. The date that was entered when creating an Xbox account can never be changed. Xbox will always see the birthdate entered at account creation.

Please try to change it using your parent account:

- Using your Microsoft account, sign in to the Microsoft Family page (http://family.microsoft.com/).

- Select Manage my child's profile info.

- Select Edit this child's personal info and then follow the instructions.

Just keep in mind changing the Microsoft child account birthdate does not change the Xbox profile birthdate of the child.
