    My name is Oscar, I would like to know how can I redeem my code.., I buy a Xbox Live Gold 12 months but I when I try to redeem my code is show a msg that says error please try later. This was since yesterday and I still can't obtain my gold membership.

    I don't know if anyone else already posted the solution to this, but a friend had the same issue with the same error. The problem was, he was trying to redeem a code over a trial gold. Live Gold and Gold Trial, doesn't mix up, that's why the solution is
    to let the gold subsciption end and then redeem the code. So if you have a Live Gold and try to redeem a Trial code (like the one included with the xbox) or the other way around, it won't work.

    Xbox Live Gold is a wonderful gateway to what Xbox Live has to offer, and we're glad you decided to go gold!

    You are able to purchase Xbox Live Gold through several options

    - You can purchase a subscription directly through your xbox with a credit card

    - You can purchase pre-paid cards that come with codes you can enter through the Xbox guide menu.

    To enter a code from a pre-paid card, press the Guide button on your controller, go left to Games and Apps, and scroll down and select Redeem Code, you can then enter your code and you should be golden!

    Did you redeem the code on the Xbox 360 console? If you did, I would suggest redeeming the code on your computer.

    You can redeem all types of prepaid codes, including Xbox gift cards, Xbox Live gold cards, and Xbox Music Pass cards, on a computer and have them applied to your account immediately. Here’s how:

    1. Go to www.xbox.com

    2. Sign in

    3. Go to the "Xbox Live Gold" tab and click "Redeem Code"

    That's it! Your Gold membership will be applied instantly.
