    Why have you change OneDrive storage to unlimited?


    Hello Microsoft. It was indeed good news for us to hear about unlimited storage of OneDrive. But, there are few problems with my Xbox One:

    1. Since you implemented the change, your servers are overloaded, and every time I want to upload a clip, it fails at random percentage.

    2. If the OneDrive storage is unlimited, why do I have a storage limit for my Upload Studio clips on Xbox One?

    3. If there was an option to move my edited clips to USB, all this issues would not exist. (The only advantage of PlayStation4 is the ShareFactory)

    I am really enjoying your Console, and as a customer of both PS4 and XboxOne, I preffer using your device. Please dont let me regret it (bought it two weeks ago)

    Xbox music combined with One Drive

    I might need to actually buy more storage space for Onedrive now. But on second thought, if it still needs to be Snapped while playing, then it is a no go. I'm not sacrificing screen space for playing music. I didn't have to with the 360, why should I have to now?

    You get unlimited cloud storage for game saves, game clips, your profile, ect. Please note your OneDrive is not the same cloud storage that your Xbox One uses for game content and your profile. You OneDrive is used to save clips you've edited in Upload Studio
    or storing any files you wish. You can check how much storage is left in your OneDrive by going to
    Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

    To sum it up OneDrive is used to upload game clips and store/share files and you have a limited amount of space (Unless you purchase more), and the separate Xbox One cloud storage saves your profile, game saves, ect and it has an unlimited amount of space.

    I've just tried to recreate the problem you're having and couldn't. I uploaded a clip to my OneDrive from Upload Studio and everything went fine. The servers don't seem to be overloaded at all. Maybe it was the switch over from limited to unlimited which
    hindered the servers for a little while. All seems fine now though so please try uploading to OneDrive again.

    Yep I am trying to upload Evolve video for more than 12 hours.

    You know why? they have disabled OneDrive storage limit, so now whole world enjoying their unlimited upload storage and overloading the servers.

    None of this would happen if we could just copy our videos to USB and edit them with NORMAL video editing software on our Personal Computers.

    There were changes made to the amount of free storage offered by Microsoft Onedrive. If your Onedrive storage exceeded that amount, it's likely your files were deleted to bring you storage down to the new limits of the free Onedrive storage offered.
