Why Have I Been Party Chat Banned?

I was playing in a party with friends and I got a random message from Microsoft telling me that I had a "Notice of enforcement action" okay?? So now I can't chat with anyone in my party and it gives me a message " Your privacy settings prevent chat with
some people". Judging by related posts it looks like I may have been chat banned? If I have its because I got a message from some kid telling me to go ***** myself after a game of gears. I usually don't respond but this kid was annoying so I told him to kiss
my ****. Have I seriously been banned for this? I've had xbox live for 7 years and have never had an issue like this. I am an adult after all playing rated M games, so if we seriously cant even mess around with kids shi.t talking without being banned than
maybe I should explore PC or Playstation. I am VERY disappointed and annoyed. Can somebody explain to me why ive gotten this message?

Xbox One Party and Game Invite System.

So true, why do I have to turn chat on if I join a party? If you join a party it is because you want to chat. And I haven't even been able to chat since launch day. I join or create a party, turn on chat but nothing happen., this is really ruining my launch
experience and I don't know why, the 360 party system was perfect why did they have to change it.

cod nope I am banned from party chats and game chat for some reason I have been in a party with my buds for 2 days no game chat and I get temp banned

I just got the same ban...whole console banned from earning credits. Why, I have no clue. I was playing with my 5 year old son...and suddenly it popped up a notice that the console was banned from earning credits. There is no reason we should have been,
we don't even chat in there except party chat with my friends. : /

I am always in party chat with friends, so I can hardly hurl abuse at all kids now can I? I had hardly been online all weekend I play for one hour and get handed a ban. So I feel I have been handed an unfair ban. I want to know why. I have a right to know
why a service I pay for has been suspended.

It's an absolute joke.
