Why have games been released that were never going to be supported by 360?

As far as I can see (I've been looking periodically since the game came out), Black Ops 3 was released for the 360 with no plans to really support it. After looking through forums etc, it appears there are many other games that have been released in a similar
fashion with equally poor online performance. I haven't been able to find any fixes for the consistent lagging and randomly being kicked from games as well as from Xbox live completely.

The most frustrating thing from a consumer's point of view is that the game performs perfectly well on Xbox One but consistently lags and kicks players offline from 360.

Overall, it begs the question... why should anyone show Microsoft any loyalty when they're purposefully brought games out that have taken our money and given us nothing but a sub-standard gaming experience?

I've seen that the Xbox One is great, but I don't feel like buying one, for the simple fact that it feels like Microsoft are forcing the upgrade by reducing the quality of 360, rather than just letting you see the enhanced performance.

Xbox Live Gold Awards Are Not Usable!

Right. Because you live in a region that is not supported there are a lot of games that were never released there and technically the games with gold program should not be available to you. They also wouldn't offer another game since your region is not supported.

 

Dead island download.

That would mean the game is not available in your region. Games are not released in all regions and since Latvia is not supported by Live, it may not have been released there.

There is no way around that.

 

Activision's CoD series has nothing to do with Microsoft, let alone the Microsoft customer services forum.

The game's quality is the result of programming from the developers - Treyarch...Only they weren't even responsible for the old gen versions.

CoD:BO3 is a One/PS4 game.

The 360/PS4 versions were a botched together, stripped-down cash-in, developed by Beenox and Mercenary Technology (apt name). You'll notice the single-player campaign is missing (not that they're worth playing anymore).

Activision are responsible for the game and the decision to release it, in it's edited form. They're also responsible for paying the developers to update and hotfix the game - which won't happen anywhere near as much as it does for the full One/PS4 version.

Some newer games are meant for next-gen consoles only, but as you see gaming companies are trying to further their reach by providing the stripped down versions of the game for the last gens.

It allows others who cant afford the next-gen consoles, or the ones that dont want the new consoles, a chance to play the new games.

 

It's on publishers to decide in which platform they want the game to be available. Microsoft just provides the platform and gives you as gamer the possibility to access those games.
