Why have a report button but have no real workers to actually look at the report??

All I did was play music through proximity chat and it bans me for offensive language for 14days? It’s the 3rd time it’s done that and why does cod ban anyway? It’s weird that cods entire popularity came from trash talking that part doesn’t make sense to me and why can’t we appeal ourselves which makes us hate you even more plus all this does is give salty players a easier reason to be salty without trash talking? Like I get why they would wanna make this code of conduct anyways but honestly why would u create a entire franchise that’s rated M while saying “violence and Profane language” And then create a report button that was used by the majority to have another reason to report people for apparently “cheating” because no one would ban the cheaters but ppl who talked smack??? U rlly think people are taking this trash talk in this game serious u meet someone in the game then you’ll never see them again even little kids are talking trash cyber bullying is always gonna be recalcitrant, people will find a way to talk and u can say that “oh well we will find another way” then at that point it’s a pure structure of control which in your case will just either get a strike from the players on TikTok or you will personally have employers turn on u because of the amount of players that will drop from any of that happening? And you can say that trash talking is bad but yet like 99% humanity curses and I’m pretty sure ur employees do to including u majority of the time ppl aren’t even trash talking they say a curse word because they messed up something they r frustrated from and to top it off majority of ur players base is ppl who are unprofessional in coherent language in the first place? And to begin with all I did was be annoying in proximity chat by playing “pain” by pink pantheress and this made me feel like there’s a lack of common sense in Microsoft or activisons head anyways. So why is it a thing is my question?

The majority of reports are reviewed by a member of the enforcement team before any action is taken.

The only exception is if profanity is used in a message.That is usually caught by the system & a automatic ban issued.

Playing music down your mic is not only extremely annoying for other players it's also classed as disruptive behaviour & something you can be banned for,especially if the music contains profanity.

Continuing to do this will probably result in a permanent ban.

The age rating on a game only means someone under that age can't buy that game & the rating does not apply to xbox live.Everything you do on xbox live must be rated E for everyone,no matter what game you are playing.

Whilst I see the point being made, have you thought that they may be trying to supress further confrontation.

Here's a scenario:

You are getting bullied/harassed by somebody you actually know, a co-worker fellow student etc. You decide to report their online actions to the Enforcement team, they suspend that person who is bullying/harassing you and give them the exact reason and the
offending gamer then knows who reported them. Now we have a situation where that can get escalated into actions in the real world.

You shouldn't have anything to worry about here. All reports are looked at by real people, the system is not automated. Only things that break the Code of Conduct can result in a ban, false reports do not end in suspensions. Be careful though, too many
false reports and your own account can have a temporary suspension. Only report users who actually break the rules.

Okay, but those reports dont really do anything except ban an account, or an ip. it doesnt solve the problem with the exploit. People have vpns and alternate accounts. So we try to bring it to a real person with a full description of the problem we’re having. We dont want to have to send a report for every modder we encounter (which is almost every session). Thats an actual problem that needs a fix, not a report button.

The enforcement team investigates every report they receive and will issue a suspension if warranted. Some investigations can take longer and occasionally you will get a message thanking you for your report, but they don't send that on every one of them.
So you won't know for sure when/if the other person gets an enforcement action. But as long as you're reporting them, they are being investigated and the appropriate action is taken.
