Suspensions aren't always immediate. As long as you reported them, the enforcement team will investigate and take action.

The severity of a suspension has nothing to do with the amount of people who have reported someone.

The length of a suspension is based on the severity of the offence & whether the person has had previous enforcement actions.The amount of reports has nothing to do with it.

Certain words may lead to a automated suspension but the majority of reports are investigated first before any enforcement action is issued.

As long as you reported him, you won't be singled out. Even if he hasn't received a suspension yet, he will. It's also not possible to know for sure when/if another person has been given a suspension.

24 comm suspensions aren't appealable because, by the time anyone looks into it, the suspension has already been served whereas longer bans would still be in place. Agreed that in some situations, it is not ideal which is why the advice is always to report the person and then block them...plenty of people on XBL try to get people banned/suspended by using inflammatory language to invoke a response.
