Why has my Xbox all of a sudden just stopped updating in instant on

Why all of a sudden do i need to format it though? It worked for ages then stopped, Did Xbox update something?

update: I plugged in a wired connection and it gave instant connectivity everything is up and running but this isn't a permanent solution, I'd like to know why it all of a sudden won't connect wirelessly

why has it just started doing this it's been fine after they patched it to stop it kicking back to the dash the all of a sudden cant even get into a game AAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

All I know is, I just spent the last 12 hours uninstalling and reinstalling updates, following every step for resetting game services, reset the MSFT store, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, etc. - and it still shows as purchased content in my purchase history, and the app still tries to make me buy the Aftermath DLC that is already paid for. Seeing as how the devs haven't run an update in about a week, and it was working just fine yesterday...there has to be another reason for why it just stopped working all of a sudden.

i just don't understand why it stopped working all of a sudden after it had worked for the past 3 months
