Why has my gameshare stopped working?

My friend gameshares with me, so his account is the home xbox account on my xbox, all of a sudden it has stopped working. We tried to reset his account as the home xbox account but it's saying remove account as home xbox. He has 0 account switches left so we don't want to do this.

Game sharing outside of your physical household is a violation of terms of service and can lead to account and hardware bans

Why is it now that in order for the gamesharing to work for me, I have to have both my gamertag and my gameshare partner/friend signed in? Thanks.

Please try setting up Home Sharing remotely you can set your Home Xbox here https://account.microsoft.com/devices

If it says that the console is your Home Xbox and it still isn't working please check for system updates on that console by going to Settings < System <Updates & downloads if there is a console update available please install and try again.

Please note some things cannot be homed shared such as consumables (booster packs and in-game currency).

I can play the game I just dont have the add ons, and hard resetting and uninstalled and reinstalled didnt work. We also stopped gamesharing and gameshared again too

Why? Dont we share it with gamesharing?

And also, then why are other games working for me and him?
