Why Has My Forum "Level" got put back to 1?

I was at like level 5 a few days ago, now it's a 1. What happened? I also didn't know where to post this question so. Any mods here feel free to explain. I'm pretty active on the forums, so idk why it went from a 5 to a 1.

Did you boost, hack, or use an exploit?

 

Last time they upgraded the forums they introduced a bug that inflated forum levels way higher than they should have been. This bug has now been fixed.

 

The 5 itself was a forum bug. Like TWB says, it was introduced with the forum upgrade, which took place back in February I think; all CULs (Community User Levels) were artificially inflated to varying degrees. Last week or so they fixed this, which put everyone's
CULs back to their proper levels.

 

Yeah, but besides that, I worked my way up from 1,2,3, etc. I shouldn't be a 1. I've been active here for a good while.

 

What were you before February? It seems everyone went back to those levels.

 

@Maxen I was at a 4 or 5. My level didn't just JUMP to a 4 or 5. I had been active on here a good while.

 

i also noticed this.. I should be a 5.

When i preview a topic post before i post it even shows my gamer card showing the forum tenure 5.

To further explain: Community User Level (CUL) was being calculated incorrectly. It wasn't that it was "jumping" levels, etc. It was simply that the number of posts wasn't reflecting the correct level.

I just checked both of your accounts. Bobaaganoosh: You are at the correct level - 1. Major: You are at the correct level - 4.

 

There's no way. I've been active on the forums for a while now. I shouldn't be a 1. (I mean it's not a life or death problem, I'm just saying).

 

Your Community User Level is not based off of the time you've been on the forums. It is not tenure. It is based off of the number of posts that you've made. I assure you that your level 1 is correct.
