Why has Capcom increased its digital prices?

Purchased Resident Evil HD on release for 24.95 nzd , now its 31.95 nzd??

Wanted to get RE zero HD on release, price was showing 24.95 nzd , so i go out and buy a 25$ MS $ card, come home and its 31.95?? so i spend it on something else, then it dropped down to 24.95 again, then back up again to 31.95 the first week and has stayed

Did they ever give any info why?? same deal with PSN priced at 31.95 nzd...

Code veronica X and Re4 on 360 has increased to $29.95 nzd also, among other capcom games

Cant even sign in at capcom unity , just logs in and out, tryed making new account but no confirmation email is ever sent. "Ask Capcom" doesnt even get answered by the looks of it anyway

This is lame as, games normally go down in prices not up, looks like im paying an extra 21$ to get RE 6,5 and 4 when they drop, im always 2$ short of getting Zero

I've heard that its a quality game, and if it has increased in popularity due to our recent success, then why not? Heck, I may pick up one myself!!

Why Microsoft ... no Capcom games on the XBOX ??? ... its realy suxx why come Street Fighter and Deep inside no 4 the XBOX One ....

They raised their prices because they want more money.

In regards to game developers raising the prices of their games, I don't mind it as long as the content warrants the extra money.

However, what I do have a problem with is when the price of the base game goes up and then they are still charging gamers extra money for small stuff that could have been easily added into the core game as " unlockables ".

Seems odd that a game would increase in price after launch digitally. I know physical can be rare sometimes and a collector might pay more but digital is not like that. However it could have been an early buy incentive that expired. I have purchased a
few games for $5 to $10 off digital before at or near launch and then the price returns to the normal level. Only other thing I can think of is that the original price might have been an error. I have actually purchased 2 games that had an error in pricing
at the time. I did not know and though that was just a good sale so it does happen.

 

There was a Capcom flash sale recently 31.95nzd is about £15 which is price of game in UK
