Why exactly?

So i've been getting a lot of errors ranging from me not being able to sign into my account on my xbox to games not opening, I couldn't even sign into my profile when my internet was on the fritz but I could open my games, all which were completely useless
without my progress and save abilities. Now I am connected to xbox live and i can't open some of my games. Please explain to me why I paid for something I can't use? "To start GTAV we need to connect to xbox live" is that a joke? Because it seems to
me like i should be able to play the campaign on gta v offline just fine and dandy except the game won't start because even though i'm online it says it can't connect. I am actually ticked off about this. On my xbox 360 if my internet was down i could
still sign into my gamer tag and play every game i had without an issue. I wouldnt have paid for something that i can't use, as far as im concerned I already want to wash my hands of this [Mod Removed] and I want my *** money back.

Sorry to hear about the Daily Challenge trouble. So that we can best help out, can you please let us know the trouble you're having with challenges? If you haven't already, please give your PC a full restart to see if that helps.

 

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Live has been having issues for the past 5 hours at least. These issues are what is happening now with your games. The only games you can play in the offline mode are games that you installed or bought with your
current Home XBOX account. So whichever account your games were purchased on is the account you'll have to sign into. I'm having roughly the same issue only mine is more self inflicted, because I have three XBONE's in my home and my account that I bought
all but one of my 18 games on is set as the Home XBOX on my GF's XBONE in our living room. She plays on that one and I play on mine in my office. I set my account on her's as the Home XBOX so she would have all of my games. Well today I don't get to play
any of my games except for BF4 which I have the Disc copy of. This is a very crappy situation for us to be in, but please let me assure you that Microsoft is in fact working hard to fix it. I only know this because I owned a PS3 for its entire life cycle
and a PS4 for almost a year of it's life cycle before I switched to XBOX. And in that time of owning those consoles I experienced outages like this, but much more often. Also in dealing with the two companies for Customer Service I personally have noticed
a night and day difference between Sony and Microsoft. Sony outright does not care about your customer satisfaction, at least they didn't care for mine and I explained to there highest level of Customer Service agents that I was a 17+ year Sony Pony and they
still basically told me to get bent. I'm not telling you not to be *** off, but just don't let anyone tell you it's better on the other side, because I've been there and it's far far worse.

 

It's been 8 hours now.... I think this is a new record for down time.... haha today is my only day off for two weeks I was excited to game all day, that plan got *** lol and like an idiot 8 have been sitting here in front of my console waiting and hoping
