Why every time I Sign in Microsoft Account, I need to change my password?

You can see if they are attacking your Hotmail by logging into this part of your account: [account.live.com/Activity]

Please keep in mind, with two-step verification, you should not have to be concerned too much about the security of your account.

However it does pose some risk, and can lead to the blocking of your account as you have seen.

Thankfully, I have the perfect solution!

"Go to Add an alias.

Sign in to your Microsoft account, if prompted. [https://account.live.com/AddAssocId]

Under Add an alias, do one of the following:

Create a new Outlook.com email address and add it as an alias.

Add an existing email address as an alias.

Select Add alias."

Now you can go to this site: [account.live.com/SignInPreferences] and turn off your sign in options for the past alias.

Your email address will operate completely as normal, but now you must sign in with another email address.

i changed my password to a strong password and i need to fix my account region so

I tried to sign in to my account and its come up with a security check ad it's done this like 4 times with a week now the it asks for my Microsoft email and password I put them in but my password is always incorrect so I change it but this time I changed
it threw my Microsoft account but its still wrong and I can't sign in to Xbox live any ideas need help

Why would I need to reset my password? It work every where else. I can sign into any of my micsoft accounts.

This is a scam that originated in 2019. I, too, have been constantly changing my password -- thankfully, I looked up "why I keep getting this unusual sign-in activity" today -- and found it is a scam. I have changed my password again! But this time I changed it legitimately on the Microsoft Site -- not the link provided by the "authentic" email. I hope it provides enough protection, as any of the other passwords might afford someone to hack the other information attached to that account!
