Why dont my headphones work?

have you tried another set of headphones on sot to see if its a sot thing

yea i have to use my headset which i dont like to use for long periods of gaming so id rather just use the headphones but i cant figure out why i cant use it. I dont have audio and my mic doesnt work

Thanks...the headphones are Hyper X cloud Revolver. Neither remote will work with the headphones. Fyi...not sure why my user name is changed for this reply.

Hello my computer is updated and the clean boot did not work.

BUT deleting my Bluetooth headphones drivers fixed the problem. You might want to look into that (I have sony WC-CH 500 wireless headphones, which drivers were messing with the recording). Luckily i dont rely on these headphones.

If it has been updated it's not a software problem, it's a hardware problem.

The joystick has a 90-day warranty, microsoft does not carry out out-of-date repairs.

If it is within the deadline, request the repair:
