Why don't Microsoft make Auto-delete clips optional?

Because it conflicts with your external hard drive

Did you even read the link you gave me? You can't upload clips to Xbox live from your EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE, I got one so I don't have to worry about auto-delete bs; there's no excuse for Microsoft here

 

dvr clips will not delete at all wtf ?

i have lots of clips in upload and none of them will delete, the clips just stay there after pressing delete wtf ?

also my DVR auto records some gameplay so im just getting heaps of stupid clips that are piling up and wont delete

It's a great suggestion, especially when you can use external hard drives with a lot of storage. Hopefully they take your suggestion on board.
