    Why doesn't the percentage go down?


    When I put new batteries to my Xbox Series S controller on the console a percentage of the battery comes out but does not lower that percentage and when I restart the xbox the percentage changes

    Have you tried to restart the console and update the firmware of the controller and see?

    Hey Sarn!



    The reason why it does this is because it's downloading/installing an update. Lets say the game you installed was 30GB initially, there is then an update for the game thats 1GB. When the update starts, the games overall installation is sitting at 30GB/31GB,
    which as a percentage is 97%, so that's usually why the percentage jumps to the high nineties. Sometimes it may be start at 60% but its all down to the size of the game and the size of the update.

    I got on on just fine by pressing up-up-down-down-B-A start...go try it... And if it doesn't work come back and create a thread on why it didn't work for you.
