Why doesn't the block feature apply to online games? Give reputation back! Fix the block ...

There are some players on Xbox One that I do not want to play with. I have "Block"ed them in their Xbox profile.

Why doesn't this apply to online games?

What if someone was mean to your child and they blocked this person. Is it acceptable that the same blocked person can stalk your child and abuse them in games when they are blocked?

I think that this is a huge oversight and should be corrected.

Are game developers allowed to access players' block list? If not, then why not? Would it really delay match making by that much? I do not think so. Certainly if someone had a block list that exceeded a pre-determined limit of say 25 people, they could
be warned that it would delay match making too much and that they should reduce their block list before joining online matches.

Furthermore, the block list should be displayed and editable by players. It should include the date the player added the block and the blocked players' last login date so that the player could determine who they could safely remove.

I would really like Xbox to return the player reputation to the community.

There should be consequences for behaving badly. It is a huge problem!

Repuation Reporting System

Use the block feature. It's more or less the same as avoid.

Just a few blocks wont harm someones reputation also blocking someone wont get them banned either.

 

Reputation or Avoiding Players

The OP is referring to the reputation system not the recent players list.

To answer that I believe there is no way of avoiding or preferring other players yet. I just use the block feature. I don't even know if that even works because I have never seen anyone online who doesn't have a good reputation.
