Why Doesn't Phil Spencer Like Avatar Awards In Xbox One Games?

Ok... the only reason I can think of that we don't have Avatar Awards in Xbox One games... has got to be the fact that Phil doesn't like them. lol

Ok... maybe that's not it, but come on... am I
THE ONLY PERSON IN THE WORLD who wants them back in Xbox One games?

My poor little Avatar needs a reason to exist.

Seems this gen,Gamerpics and Avatar stuffs aren't very popular (maybe publishers doesn't want our money anymore).

But i can easily live without.

Plil Spencer doesn't like everything related to Xbox and Xbox one,not a surprise if he shows less and less support.Strange from someone who is supposed to be "head of Xbox".

 

We have avatars? (Yeah I know... you're still waiting for intelligent responses... but I just had to).

 

I actually like my avatar. I wouldn't mind game specific gear as rewards. I wish they would let you use money on your account to buy stuff instead of a credit card only. There are a few different pairs of runners I want to buy.

That's one thing I instantly miss when I boot up the 360, seeing all my friends avatars in a line with their crazy outfits. I agree though, bring back the avatar rewards!

 

I would guess that avatar rewards may be coming back soon, remember that Avatars weren't exactly supported when the Xbox One launched. I did get some SSX gamer pics the other day, thank you 360 BC.

 

Xbox 360 plays a much more massive role with your Xbox avatar than when you're on Xbox 1. Avatars are all over Xbox 360's Dashboard UI especially the Social section where you can see avatars in XBL Parties, and you and your friends ones too. Xbox 1 it's
like blanketed over a Windows 10 like UI.

I did play A World of Keflings on Xbox 1, once. No I didn't hook up my 360 via HDMI in/out to my Xbox 1. I still prefer Xbox 360's UI cuz it IS more kiddy-ier than Xbox 1's. It's not rocket science to know why there are way more people still on Xbox 360
than there is on Xbox 1. Not because of the hardware. But because Mr. M did such a great job, and the joys of the social side of XBL including parties, avatars, and voice messaging.

 

I have a cool and rare season 1 ambassador shirt ( can't tell it's an ambassador shirt) for a female avatar if anyone wants it. There are only a few hundred.

 

Avatar awards would be cool but really ... how prevalent are Avatars currently in the console

They were and still are highly relevant on Xbox 360 always have been. But not as much with Xbox 1. At least Avatars were still a Day 1 feature for Xbox 1. I think younger peps like me want them still.
