Why doesnt minecraft bedrock servers work on my playstation?

OK, basically i logged onto minecraft on my playstation with my microsoft account, and everything was working fine, i could join my friends worlds and stuff, but when i tried to join any server, it kept coming up with stuff like: 'You need to validate your login' or 'You must be logged into XBL'(which i was) and 'You need to authenticate to microsoft services' I have seriously tried everything, i changed my password, unistalled and reinstalled minecraft, changed my DNS settings and VPN and im not logged into microsoft on any other device. My wifi is fine because i can join friends worlds, but i cant join servers. I have even tried bedrock together, and the server that i wanted to join (Hive) did show up, and it did allow me to join it for a brief second before kicking me out again and saying that i was unable to connect to the world. I am so confused and I really need help as i feel as if i have done everything i possible can

i run a minecraft server and for my kids to access it via xbox one they require the ip, thats it, even their friends join, basically only people i trust. but yes you can use an ip only. on minecraft for xbox, phone, switch, playstation and pc.

i use the bedrock server software.

minecraft bedrock is not in gamepass on pc, and yes should work as i have modded it in the past as i usually run my own custom server
