    Why doesn't CoD:MW download everything at once?


    I bought MW earlier today (the battle pass edition) and it took forever to get all the "packs" downloaded. First of all, I think the packs are stupid since every other game just downloads the base game all together instead of in packs. Almost feels like
    I paid $80 for only DLC. Secondly, after I THOUGHT that I had downloaded everything (about 7 hours later since I had Warzone installed) I finally go to play the game and it says I'm missing Multiplayer Pack 2
    & Special Ops Pack 2.You'd think it'd be included after
    PAYING EIGHTY DOLLARS. I got them to download after resetting my xbox so luckily I didn't have much trouble like others did a couple months ago.

    I'm not a game designer or too much of a tech person, but you'd think that it'd be a lot easier to put it all in one file to download (with the execption of DLC of course).

    Why doesn't Activision and Infinity Ward just bundle the packs with the other packs or just as one whole file?

    It could depend on the game you are downloading or playing? e.g. COD MW servers are always busy at an update due to eveyone updating at once. If this is the case unfortunately not much can be done
