    Does charging from a wall shorten its batter capacity? I don't know much about tech.

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this question. As the Ambassadors have previously stated, the USB-C cord that comes with the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 can be used to charge the controller, as well as connect it to your PC or
    console so that you may use it in a wired capacity.

    because various socket usb connections and various adapters have different rated amperage and output.

    Hi PlainMax21! My name is Ricardo an independent advisor ready to help you with this situation!

    A charging dock is included with the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2. Plug the USB-C cable into the back of the dock and then plug the other end into your console or PC. Once the dock is connected, gently place the controller onto it to begin charging.
