Why does xbox only support some usb headsets?

I am devastated. I bought a razer kraken rgb kitty edition usb headset thinking it would work on the xbox since it has usb ports and I've had a usb headset before and it worked just fine.

Now I find out y'all only support certain ones and from a consumer perspective that makes zero sense. So xbox gonna control what I can and cant use for no reason??? I want a cute

Please stop this madness. If I can only get the coolest stuff that works on pc then I guess I'm moving to pc for good and getting rid of xbox cause y'all are tripping.

Only supporting certain things is a huge disappointment. I don't like feeling like I cant buy what I want because xbox wont support it for no good reason.

Can you please fix this.

I can feel your frustration having had some issues of headsets not working with the One. Eventually it worked out, but the time spent was exhausting.

PS 5 Will come in at October 2020 , realy like to switch to PS5 if Xbox still not support USB audio , Xbox one not support USB audio just because they have contacted with some company, big cake !!but there is the case , from my understanding is moricsoft
don't care you only care the cake!! We agreed moricsoft product some adapter and coat money from them , that mean is give option to the customer!!!!

The Razer Kraken RGB headset is a PC headset and to utilise its colourful RGB goodness you need to use the Razer Chroma RGB software. Even looking on youtube, I cant see anyone who uses this headset with either a PS4 or an Xbox One.

Razer make a range of products for the Xbox One and also a Kraken for console (I believe that Razer make matching add on kitty ears for existing Kraken users). The only thing you can do is you reach out to Razer via social media and suggest they make a console
version of the Kraken Kitty.

You can also make suggestions to help shape Xbox via the Xbox Insiders Reddit Page. This would be a great place to suggest more uses for the USB port.

You would also need the headset manufacturers to make the headset compatible with the console.

Xbox can't force people to work with them.
