Why does Xbox not fix their consoles?

My xbox broke and they told me that it is getting fixed in Mexico. How come Microsoft can't fix their own consoles? The next time it brakes I am not going through xbox again, it is been a plus 2 weeks and it is still not here.

Why does Xbox support reps continue to just hang up on me when they are politely asked if they could help me fix this problem.... I am 14x and counting. Not rude at all, just begging for their help!

Seems like Microsoft does not treat all countries the same way.

I agree with you 100% I called them and they told me Microsoft won't send me my Xbox that I send them if I want them to fix it their lazy as*'s will have to send me a new Xbox which I don't understand why they can't just get their stupid chair butts up and
fix a simple problem like the red ring Microsoft is the worse company to do anything with I really don't see them lasting as a company if they continue PlayStation may have it's problems but at least they know how to fix their systems when the customers call
with a problem I guess what I'm saying is Xbox live really needs to have their useless employees fired and some system repair employees need to be hired in their place

 

Because Microsoft doesnt care about you after they get your money. Im about this close [] to selling my 3 xbox ones and getting PS4's. This is just dumb that a company treats their customers like ***.

 

here again I call them back and the basic answer from customer service rep Mendell I believe he said his name was I don't know if I spelled it correctly but he said and I quote " we can't guarantee that they will fix your console but no matter what we do
we will have to charge you the fee of $115" and when I pressed him some more to find out why Microsoft can't just charge me for the repair of my system and not the cost of a new system he said "it's because you have an old system and it may not be worth fixing
at all"

Xbox has a number of repair centre's located around the world, and from my understanding you console goes to the closest repair centre to you, so that it can be fixed and returned to you promptly. These people are paid by microsoft, so in a manner of speaking
it is Microsoft fixing the console. If they had every console sent to the head office I don't imagine they'd have the room to fix and process every console from every country in the world.
