    why does xbox need you to be a certain age to equip and custom pfp?


    Now, my account isnt the oldest right, and neither am i im still a minor and xbox knows that bc its my account, but why does me being a minor stop me from equipping a custom profile picture, like i get it if the pfp is innapropriate but then just ban the person or take it off for them, but pfps are harmless like 95% of the time, why stop me from putting them on bc im not old enough

    I have updated my age to the correct age (over 18) and yet i cannot do some of the functions e.g. upload custom pfp and so on. Do i need to wait some time or is it bugging out?

    You can change your custom PFP in the Xbox Companion app on your PC and the Xbox app on your phone. On the Xbox app and website so far we don't have the option to submit a custom PFP.

    As with everything in life there are rules & age limits on certain things.

    Having to 18 to use a custom gamerpic is a good thing in my opinion.

    If you have a suggestion about the age restriction on custom gamerpics then you can post your idea on the feedback site

    How do I require password to be entered for profile switching?

    you'll need to customize both accounts to where your parent account is passworded and requires the password every time you sign in and the child account to be customized for a certain age group. I did it for mine. Account settings > parental controls then
    customize.

    So, the only way to be able to get a custom pfp is to get on my hands and knees and beg for Microsoft to allow people under 18 to have custom pfps? Also, dang you're fast.
