Why does Xbox ignore everyone about the chat filter?

I am so sorry you are having issues with chat filters.

Microsoft does not run in-game chat filters. The games themselves do. They may have specific guidelines that have to be met for Xbox to host their game, but overall the sensitivity of the filter would lie on the developers themselves.

I see this issue a lot when it comes to ASA especially, I would speak to Wildcard's support about the issue.

A common point is that this does not happen with other platforms, this is still the fault of the developer and the integration with the platform, rather than the filter system on Xbox.

Both Wildcard and Square Enix have confirmed it is Xbox's profanity filter. I'm sick of everyone involved with Xbox trying to claim it's the developers doing this. Who do I talk to if I want every penny I've spent on Xbox refunded? I'll just go to a different platform that won't censor things.

That's interesting considering the fact that xbox has enabled voice chat which can be miles worse in toxicity.. roblox chat has many filters and punishments for toxicity, racism and more. Im sure that was the reason for removing chat but I just dont understand why voice chat is allowed when that cant be filtered like text chat.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have question on chat filters. If the filter is in game, this is the developers chat and is managed by the developer. Example Fortnite is Epic games and their in game chat is on their server. To be honest
not sure why the word I would be filtered, unless means something bad in a different language.
