What is happening exactly? Is the game crashing before loading, crashing whilst playing? Does it give an error message?

Might be worth opening an elevated command prompt (click Windows icon bottom left of the screen, start typing "command prompt"...when command prompt shows click "run as administrator") and typing the following:
