    Why does the system update force you to install or go offline?


    It was only a matter of time before it happened to me and now that it has, I AM LIVID.

    I was in the middle of a competitive match when it kicked me out and told me I must update now or go offline. This caused me to drop in rank and aggravate my team.

    Why does it need to force you to update immediately? Why can't it give you a minimum of 24 hour notice? Either way let it give you an option to install later within 24 hours or at least give us a notification 24 hours before it will force us to install because this is ridiculous...

    The game cant be install and why does the xbox one has to be online only.Do you force the xbox one to be online gaming console only or there games has to be offline.

    Hopefully the offline update will work for you, the "update your console" bit does, if I remember right, does that if it doesn't find an update.

    sometimes I think updates can install a little bit wrong, on pretty much anything no just xbox

    Why don't you try to go offline (in your network settings) before you play. If you are offline then the game will not be aware of an update and not force you to update it so you can get on playing it. Make sure that you always boot the game into story
    mode automatically too.
