Why does the screen go black when game starts I can hear it but can't see it

Are you getting any error codes or messages? When you say reboots, does it just go to a black screen, and start the game from launch again?

Hello Matthew, I don't know if you've tried any procedure on the console, if you haven't tried it, follow the procedure below.

Bind Eject Xbox One

Turn off the console and unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely turned off.

Wait 30 seconds and plug the power cord back in.

Hold down the BIND (located at the bottom front of the console) and EJECT (located on the front of the console) and press the Xbox button on the console.

NOTE: Bind is the pairing button of the control.

Continue by pressing the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10 to 15 seconds.

Listen to the two tones of "activation", with a few seconds of difference between them.

Release the BIND and EJECT buttons after the second activation tone.

If your console is the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition, it doesn't have the EJECT button.

You can turn on Xbox Startup Troubleshooting on this console by keeping only the BIND button and then pressing the Xbox button.

When you're on the recovery screen, choose the "Reset while keeping games and Apps" option.

Note:

-You need to know the email and passwords of your accounts when performing this reset.

-No data or game save will be lost doing this, everything is done in backup to the cloud servers.

Hi Having the same problem, screen is black but i can hear the music

same problems for me, removed and re-installed and no difference. Can hear start music but just a black screen

Same here, just realized after I posted my problem that this is going on else where..... pretty much can't play WWII anymore.

When I try to go onto gta 5 the sirens bit at the beginning passes then it goes to a black screen for about 3 minutes then does the sirens bit again and then black screen and sirens bit and so on it won't go onto anything else but that for some reason I
have deleted the game of my Xbox 360 console and am downloading it again but can you please tell me why it is doing this because it can't be a disc because I don't use a disc I brought the game off Xbox game store
