Why does the reward program feel unfulfilling compared to Xbox Rewards?

I cant be the only one who feels like we are getting shafted a little. I went from being a lvl3VIP member to feeling like a noob who just joined. Add this to a weird system that feels like it punishes those who are patient with there rewards.

For example: 7,500 reward points gets you $10,

46,000 reward points gets you $50. Why is it over 8,000 points more to get a $50 gift card than if you bought the $10 card 5 times. Im not trying to nitpick but it just seems like a convoluted system. Maybe its still early but thats why im leaving feed back.
I own 3 xbox one s and an X and i buy 20-40 games digitally a year. I just want to feel like i’m appreciated.

Also i would like to see improvement on the deals section. I bought an X so how many do i need. Instead put relevant games like Nier Automa which is on sale this week. You know, get it at 25% off and get an extra 500 points ontop of what you would already
get. Anybody else feel this way?

Microsoft does not run the rewards program which is why Xbox support doesn't handle the program. There are support members specifically for the rewards program in the other forum who will help you.

The reason you're seeing the 7,500 reward points for a $10 Xbox gift card. Is due to the current "Hot deal" they have going for 25% off the 5, 10 and 25 dollar Xbox gift cards.

I can definitely agree with your sentiment of improving the available deals section. Of course all the deals available are for purchases I've already made, but that's the luck of the draw I suppose...

 

Personally the Microsoft Rewards program has always been more rewarding for me than the Xbox Rewards program. I don't normally spend a lot of money through Live so the only way I could regularly earn money from the Xbox Rewards program was by surveys.
With the Microsoft Rewards program I earn at least about 500 points per day without having to spend a dime (keep in mind that there are more offers through their website than the app). Plus, I can use the points on other stuff I would use more instead of Xbox
currency.

 

I like more this new program, they just made a fusion with bing rewards. Now you can have a little of both. Get points for search and others offers without spending nothing and still getting points when you buy games on Microsoft Store

I don't know if you use the website, but I can get up to 270 points on Edge, PC and Mobile searches alone. You also get streaks to negate the feeling that "it punishes those who are patient with there rewards." The
online page also gives you more surveys including ones that update daily.

 

You know what I have to agree and yes I'm an ambassador for Xbox Live but having been an Xbox Live member since it's initiation I do feel like I went from one of the highest VIP levels to being around the bottom purely because I don't use Microsoft edge
and prefer other search engines I know they have said that they give the approximation of what you were over to the new system but I still feel like we've been pretty hard done by and I said as much to the feedback people. But as you can expect they 100% denied
any hard doing.

At the end of the day though it is what it is and as with any major changes you either conform or forget about it all together. There are some decent deals however it is primarily aimed towards getting people to use their search engine and if you don't,
you don't really get anything apart from doing surveys. So it's up to the person as to whether or not they do this or just forget that it was ever there to begin with. I still love Xbox and to my knowledge there's nothing similar that works for PlayStation
owners.

I dont mind it so much. I just earned three months of game pass.
