Why does screen time not work on FIFA

I have set up a screen time limit on the xbox One X and it works for every game (Fortnite, Forza, Lego words, Minecraft etc) apart from FIFA.

Can you please explain how I can get screen time to work for all games.

It appears to be because you can use fifa without needing to log into Xbox (you cannot save).

My kids don't mind not being able to save,

This makes screen time totally useless because as soon as seen time kicks in they continue with FIFA.

With screen time they finish playing games without any argument but trying to get them to stop when they can still play is a battle.

Screen time works on WIndows 10 so why cannot be set on XBOX ONE?

Please solve, from a frustrated parent who is close to getting rid of the xbox because of this issue.

My EA Fifa game dus not start anymore on brand new XBox One

Can anybody please help? I just bought a brand new XBox One for my son and it came with FIFA 17. We downloaded the game with the code that came with it and after playing the game two-three times the game does not start anymore. It just gives us a screenshot/frozen
screen. Does anybody know what to do? Restarting the XBox does not work unfortunately.

 

System features I'd like to see.

1. What feedback that pops up on the bottom of the screen?

2. Thats an EA issue. Not sure why they thought it be cool to randomly record clips every time I get scored on in Fifa, or take dog tags in BF4.

So are they signing in as a guest account to circumvent screen time?

If so, you can put a pass key that only you know so they cannot do that. You can also restrict features that way if they were to use a guest account.

I have already setup the guest account with a key and set the access to content. FIFA does not seem to ask for even a guest account. when you log in when the screen time is expired it just says that your progress will not be saved. My kids don't mind as
long as they can play matches.

 

Then I’m not sure what you can do. Seems like an oversight, but hopefully they’ll fix it.

 

Brandiesel I owe you and Microsoft an apology. I have just worked out how to stop them using the xbox when the time runs out. You are correct the guest account passkey must be setup but also set the access content setting to the very lowest setting of "restricted"
right at the bottom of the list. Any other option still allows them to play games and use the xbox. I thought there must have been a way.
