Why does OutRun 2 not load on the Xbox 360 S

My brother has an official hard drive, we loaded Halo 2 just fine. However, OutRun 2, for the original Xbox, won't load on my bro's Xbox 360 Slim.

Any reason why this is or how we can fix it?

So this says the final update was around June 2007. And that I'll need a rewrite able DVD. I also don't own a PC with XP/Vista.

It's not a general.update

You need to.download.the file.seperately

Halo 2 was from the first.update

They had like 5 updates I'm not sure but the one you can download is the one and finale update

All other consoles are live updates since xbox one and higher os is still actively supported

Though no new bc have been added since the pause

It has the latest Xbox patch, yes. It ran Halo 2 just fine. I also know it's not the disc as I ran it on my Xbox 360 E completely fine

How does one update the BC patch, if not a general Xbox live update?

Worth noting, the account in question doesn't have Xbox live but has an internet connection.

There's only one BC patch for the Xbox 360 as it uses a pure software emulator. if Xbox 360 and other original Xbox games work, it's more than likely an issue with the disc itself.

I have an old Xbox 360 as a retro console that I hook up occasionally. Both OutRun 2 and OutRun 2 Coast to Coast work fine. Either try cleaning the disc or replace it.
