Why does only my Xbox not accept my passwords?

Wasted over an hour with resetting my password(why does the Microsoft website accept my longer, 17-digit password, but xbox360 only accepts 16-digit???) Did not work after downloading profile, again. The message window still reads "Playback Error", Status
code: c101a3ff. Help.

"If you can't sign in to your Xbox after changing your Microsoft account password, the console may not have received your new account password.

Important Before trying the following solutions, make sure you can sign in to your Microsoft account online. To do this, go to account.microsoft.com, select Sign in, and enter your Microsoft account email address and new password.

Solution 1:

Press and hold the Xbox button  located in the center of your Xbox controller to open the Home/Stop center.

Select Restart console.

Select Restart.

After the console has restarted, try signing in again.

Solution 2:

Step 1: Remove your account from the console

Press the Xbox  button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.

Select your account and confirm the operation.

Restart the console (see solution steps 1).

Step 2: Add your account back to the console

Press the Xbox Button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system and then Add or change.

Select Add new.

Enter the email address and password for your Microsoft account.

use the forget my password option under the login screen at this site

first sign out then click sign in

then you will be asked for the windows live id and password

underneath that is forgot my password

doesn't always work, never does for ones that haven't been accessed since before you needed a bunch of information. Also, it won't work it's been hacked and the information changed. That happened to my parent account and now I'm screwed over because the
parental account can't be recovered and I can't accept the new terms of service without that account. I've sent in several requests that contained literally ALL the information the account had when it was last used (like 4 years ago) but it still isn't enough.
