Why does no one play with a mic?

I have been playing all weekend with a friend and every person we have been teamed with in fireteam have not used a mic. We have not been able to get a strategy going with other players because they refuse to talk. Anyone have any idea why people would play
a multiplayer game as if they were by themselves?

Its rare to find people with mics in lobbies these days. Youre best bet would be to use LFG for Halo, and let people know that you want to play with those who use mics.

Just message some of the people and ask if they have mics. Be polite of course.

a lot of girls dont talk cause as soon as they do some perv starts harassing them and for others jerks talking smack when they find out there playing with a black or mexican or another race... while playing destiny i only had one run in with a racist butthead
and i did'nt talk cause you give them more fuel for the fire im just here to have fun not beef and talk smack but call of duty trash talking is the worse

 

I played Destiny since day one and only took a break from it after I did the same activities way too many times over and over again. Now I play Hardline but in regards to your post, I actually noticed the contrary while with the game. Close to every single
person I raided with in both raids always had mics, otherwise nothing would ever get done. I also made over 50 new friends through this game and have communicated with an overwhelming majority of them. When matchmaking by the game with ransoms like in Weekly
Heroic Strike,, people are likely not to wear a mic or more importantly not enable team chat. Then again, aside from Nightfall or the raids or when playing any other activity in the game without being with a friend you know and trust, I don't really see the
need to strategize tactics. Multiplayer? Maybe but it's only at best 6 on 6 and the maps are only so big since Mars Bastion and the New something Moon map have been eliminated. I might get back into Destiny on May 19th since I bought the expansion pass but
until then its Hardline and State of Decay for me.
